Please review the following information prior to your field trip. We have developed this informational packet for field trips to Hobe Sound Farms.

Price:
Prices for field trips vary depending on the activities performed by students.

Booking a Field Trip:
Reservations are required. Contact our Program Coordinator, Cindy Landefeld, to schedule your event: [email protected] or (772)276 1002.
Spaces are limited so please contact us early to guarantee your spot.

Release and Waiver:
Every student/parent is required to have a signed Release and Waiver of Liability.

Rules, Regulations and Importation Information:
Please help us keep the premises clean and pick up after yourself.
No outside animals and/or pets are allowed.
The farm is not completely handicapped accessible. Some areas are rough and bumpy as it is a working farm.
Animal feed contains nuts. Please do not let anyone with a nut allergy touch the animal feed.

Facilities:
The farm does not have electricity or water.
There are hand washing stations that use rainwater, as well as hand sanitizer stations.
There are portable toilets on site that are cleaned weekly.

What To Bring/Wear:
Please wear closed-toe shoes with backs as there are areas that are muddy, wet, rough, and bumpy.
Dress for the weather. On hot days, students should be prepared with sunscreen, a hat, and water. On rainy days, students should be prepared with rain jackets. On cooler days, students should dress warmly.
If needed, please bring bug spray.
