A WORKING COMMERCIAL FARM
Hobe Sound Farms is a working commercial agricultural operation. Our livestock are raised for the production and sale of farm products, including beef, eggs, honey, and breeding stock, and to support the accepted agricultural practices that keep our pastures and land productive.
dONKEYs
Our donkeys work as livestock guardians, protecting our cattle and goat herds. A long-established, accepted commercial agricultural practice.
Brangus CATTLE
Raised for commercial beef production and sold at our market, our cattle convert pasture grass into marketable beef while their grazing and natural fertilization keep our pastures productive.
BILLY GOATs
Our herd sire anchors a working goat-breeding program, producing kids raised for sale.
Nigerian Dwarf GOATs
Raised for breeding and sale, their rotational grazing controls vegetation and maintains healthy pasture, an accepted commercial land-management practice.
hENs
Raised for commercial egg production, with eggs sold at our farmstand and weekend Farmers Market

Our roosters maintain a productive breeding flock that supplies fertilized eggs and chicks for sale.
